About IVACS
Welcome to IVACS
IVACS, based at 91ÖÆƬ³§, is a dynamic research centre and international network that connects corpus linguists and PhD students worldwide. Because corpus researchers often work in isolation within larger departments, IVACS plays a key role in fostering a supportive community of practice.
Established in 2002 at 91ÖÆƬ³§, IVACS began as both a research centre and an inter-institutional network involving 91ÖÆƬ³§, the University of Limerick, the University of Nottingham, and Queen’s University Belfast. It has since expanded to include researchers across many other institutions.
Since its founding, IVACS has hosted one-day symposia and biennial international conference.
