Africa Day 2025
Africa Day is observed annually on 25 May in Africa and around the world to commemorate the formation of the African Union and the unity of the continent.

Africa Day at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ provides a space for intercultural engagement, knowledge sharing and an opportunity to learn about the diverse cultures and traditions of Africa.
The 4th Africa Day celebration took place at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Limerick with a seminar on Thursday 29 May, with keynote speaker , Maynooth University. The theme was Scholarship Equity.

Africa Day 2023
Organised around the theme of ‘Nurturing Africa and 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s Collaborative Relationship in Education’, a free public event was held on 1 June 2023 to celebrate 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Africa Day; African scholars studying at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ shared their African culture and diversity as well as discussing their contributions to Irish life, especially in education.
