About
The Medical Centre provides an emergency triage service for 91ÖÆƬ³§ students at 91ÖÆƬ³§ Limerick. We offer a private and confidential service on weekdays during term time. It is a triage service for acute illnesses only. Students are advised to register with a local GP for the duration of their stay in Limerick. A list of local GPs is available from the Students' Union. A GP service with a local practice is available for 91ÖÆƬ³§ Thurles students.
Medical Centre - 91ÖÆƬ³§ Limerick
- Location: T307 - Third Floor, TARA building
- Opening hours: 9am - 1pm and 2pm - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (closed for lunch from 1-2pm)

- European Health insurance Card holders (for non-Irish residents), please bring your current EHIC Card to cover your visit.
Weekend and after hours service is not provided by 91ÖÆƬ³§ Medical Centre. If out of hours, students can call Shannondoc (after 5pm) on + 353 (0)818 123500 or +353 61 459500.

Students who need urgent medical treatment should proceed to the A&E Dept. at University Hospital Limerick, Tel: +353 61 301111 (24hr cover) or to St. John’s Hospital, Tel: +353 61 415822 (8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday).

EU Students: You will need to bring your European Health Insurance Card when attending the doctor/hospital.
