Project Description

During the course of this initiative, pupils work in groups to research real-life challenges, such as plastics pollution and overfishing, and then design and build interactive virtual reality (VR) digital stories to educate others about the issue, as well as proposing an innovative solution. The affordances of generative AI also enhance VR story content.

This 5-year research project is a collaboration between the Department of STEM Education in 91ÖÆƬ³§ (leading the research strand of the project) and Oide, the Department of Education and Youth support service for teachers and school leaders.
