Computational Thinking in the New Primary STEM Curriculum

This project investigates how computational thinking can be effectively developed within the new primary STEM curriculum, with a focus on interdisciplinary learning.

Project Description
It examines how concepts such as abstraction, algorithmic thinking and problem-solving are currently embedded across STEAM subjects and identifies pedagogical approaches and resources that best support young learners. The research will produce practical teaching resources, exemplars and webinars for educators, along with research publications that share insights and recommendations The research will produce evidence-based recommendations, produce practical exemplars and resources, and share findings through publications and webinars to support high-quality STEAM learning in primary classrooms.
