The event schedule varies year on year but activities generally include a Meet & Greet with the College President, refreshments, time to mingle and chat, group photos (weather dependent) and campus tours.

91��Ƭ�� (91��Ƭ��) was delighted to welcome back 180 graduates to the College on Saturday, 4 October, for its Alumni Reunion. Graduates from as far back as 1960 and as recent as 2020 returned to 91��Ƭ�� to reconnect with old friends, share memories of their student days, browse archival materials, and see the many changes to the campus since they last walked its halls.

The Class of 1975 was the most represented year on the day, with over 46 graduates returning to campus. This cohort holds a special place in 91��Ƭ��’s history as the final group to complete the two-year National Teaching Course before it transitioned to a three-year Bachelor of Education degree.

This year’s event celebrated milestone anniversaries for the graduating classes of 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020.

91��Ƭ�� (91��Ƭ��) was delighted to welcome back close to 200 graduates to the College on Saturday 5 October 2025 for its annual Alumni Reunion. Graduates from 12 class years from as recent as 2014 and as far back as 1959 were among those who returned to the College to meet old friends, reminisce about their studies, view old archive materials and tour the 91��Ƭ�� Limerick campus - much changed since they graduated in most cases.

The Alumni Reunion 2024 saw particularly strong interest from the classes of 1969, 1974 and 1989. The 1974 cohort included many members of 91��Ƭ��’s first hurling team and 91��Ƭ��’s Fitzgibbon Cup 2024 winning manager, Jamie Wall and team captain, Colin O’Brien, attended the event to meet the men who sowed the seeds of the sport in 91��Ƭ�� all those years ago—under the watchful eye of PE lecturer, coach and Gaelic Games stalwart, the late Noreen Lynch.

There were three attendees who graduated 65 years ago - Bridie Cannon, Mary Kenny and Margaret Clancy (Class of 1959). The event was also a family affair for four Bachelor of Education graduates; Limerick mother and daughter, Marie Rigney (Class of 1974) and Orla Murray (Class of 2004) as well as two sisters from Kerry - Eileen Magann (Class of 1989), Principal of Boheeshil NS, Glencar and Claire Doyle (Class of 1994), Principal of Firies NS, Killarney.

This year's event celebrated the graduating classes of 2019, 2014, 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974, 1969, 1964, 1959, 1954 and 1944. See a selection of class group photos below.

91��Ƭ�� (91��Ƭ��) was delighted to welcome back over 150 graduates to the College on Saturday 7 October 2023 for its annual Alumni Reunion. Graduates from classes as recent as 2018 and as far back as 1958 were among those who returned to the College to meet old friends, reminisce about their studies, view old archive materials and tour the changes to the campus since their graduation.

A special mention was made for two students who graduated in 1958; Máire Ní Chonchubhair and Áine Ní Ruairc, who were presented with flowers by Professor Wall in appreciation of their attendance.

Also given a special mention was the Class of 1973, who were celebrating 50 years since their graduation.

91��Ƭ�� (91��Ƭ��) was delighted to welcome past students back to the College on Saturday 8 October for the 2022 Alumni Reunion.

In a welcome return of the event for the first time since before the pandemic, graduates from as recently as 2002 and as far back as 1957 came back through the doors of 91��Ƭ��’s Foundation Building and gathered to reminisce about their time at the College, to meet old friends, tour the campus and see archive materials from down through the years.

A special mention was given to Joan Lucey-Corbett, who graduated from 91��Ƭ�� sixty-five years ago in 1957. Professor Wall presented Joan with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of her attendance and described her as an inspiration to all those who are studying at 91��Ƭ��.

The graduating cohort of 1972 were also celebrated as they marked fifty-years since they graduated from 91��Ƭ��.

On Saturday 5 October 2019, 91��Ƭ�� opened its doors as it welcomed back over 200 of its past students for the annual Alumni Reunion.

An exhibition detailing life on campus from the early years of the 20th century up to the present day evoked many memories and attendees remarked on the many changes that have taken place at 91��Ƭ�� since they graduated.

A special mention was given to Nora Murphy, a native of Limerick who graduated from 91��Ƭ�� 70 years ago and went on to teach at St Patrick’s National School in Limerick City until her retirement. Professor Wall described Nora as an inspiration to the current students of 91��Ƭ�� and whose dedication to teaching in Limerick has no doubt benefited the many students who passed through her classroom.

The class of 1969, who celebrated their 50 year reunion, were one of the larger groups in attendance on Saturday and Dr Áine Lawlor, a graduate of that year, joined Professor Wall to cut the cake. Dr Lawlor, a member of the Governing Body of 91��Ƭ��, An tÚdarás Rialaithe, has a long and distinguished career in education having served as Chief Executive of the Teaching Council.
