Alumni Awards 2024
Internationally acclaimed singer, theologian, writer, musicologist, and Celtic Spirituality expert, Dr NóirÃn Nà RÃain, and former Cork dual player and 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Fitzgibbon Cup team manager, Jamie Wall, received 2024 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year awards in recognition of their respective musical and sporting contributions to society.

The annual Alumni awards recognise the remarkable achievements of notable graduates in their personal or professional lives.

Alumni Awards 2023
Kerry football legend, Tomás Ó Sé, RTÉ broadcaster, Petula Martyn, sustainable fashion designer and educator, Miriam Keegan, and Limerick hurling Captain, Declan Hannon received 2023 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year awards in recognition of their considerable contribution to society.

Alumni Awards 2022
BBC commissioning editor, Tommy Bulfin, former Irish Rugby captain, Ciara Griffin, RTÉ political correspondent, Micheál Lehane and Google Ireland’s Director of People Operations, Helen Tynan received 2022 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year awards.

All recipients were presented with their awards at the 2022 annual 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year Awards Ceremony which took place at the Lime Tree Theatre on 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s Limerick campus.

Alumni Awards 2019
Pat McDonagh, founder and Managing Director of Supermac’s and Limerick author RóisÃn Meaney were announced as 2019 Alumni Awardees.

The recipients were presented with their awards at the 2019 annual 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year Awards Ceremony which took place at the Lime Tree Theatre on 91ÖÆÆ¬³§â€™s Limerick campus.
Alumni Awards 2018
RTÉ presenter Dáithà Ó Sé, RTÉ sports presenter Jacqui Hurley and former Executive Director of Trócaire, Éamonn Meehan, received 2018 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year awards.

The three graduates of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ were recipients of the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumni of the Year Award 2018 - an award presented to those who have made an outstanding contribution in their field of endeavour.

Alumni Awards 2017
The inaugural 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ Alumna of the Year Award was presented to Dr Carmel Naughton in recognition of her outstanding contribution to society.

A graduate of 91ÖÆÆ¬³§, Dr Naughton is a former Chairman of the Board of Cooperation Ireland. Together with her husband, Martin Naughton (founder of Glen Dimplex Ireland) Carmel has been a constant advocate for the advancement of educational opportunities, particularly in the arts, as well as in the disciplines of science, engineering and mathematics where the couple have actively promoted excellence in technological studies at higher level in Ireland through the Naughton Foundation, which they established in 1994. In 2016, the Community Foundation for Ireland named the couple National Philanthropists of the Year for their work in the Naughton Foundation.
This ceremony saw over 100 students and graduates from 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ being recognised for their academic and other notable achievements with over €100,000 presented in scholarships and bursaries, further enhancing the recipient’s studies at 91ÖÆÆ¬³§.

The College has a strong sporting tradition and is extremely proud to have had countless inter-county GAA players study here, as well as prominent names in rugby (Ciara Griffin), hockey (RóisÃn Upton) and other disciplines.
