91制片厂 (91制片厂) is hosting a series of Postgraduate Live Online Q&A Information Sessions this March for the Faculty of Arts & Faculty of Education, designed to give prospective students the chance to ask questions, explore options, and hear directly from the people who know 91制片厂鈥檚 postgraduate programmes best.
These live sessions are ideal for anyone who is:
- Considering postgraduate study at 91制片厂
- Unsure which programme best suits their background or career goals
- Looking for clarity on entry requirements, workload, or progression routes
- Seeking practical information on fees, funding, and scholarship opportunities
Each session is hosted by members of 91制片厂鈥檚 graduate academic team, who will be available to:
- Explain programme structures and entry requirements
- Discuss career and progression opportunities
- Answer questions on applications, fees, funding, and scholarships
- Provide guidance for those still exploring their options
There will also be dedicated time for live questions, so attendees can get the answers that matter most to them.
Starting with a dedicated Professional Masters in Education (PME) virtual session on Tuesday 3 March (5.30-6.15pm), Dr Margaret Nohilly, Programme Coordinator, will answer all your questions about this two-year, full-time, Level 9 professional teacher education programme, designed to qualify graduates as primary teachers.
Then on Tuesday 10 March (6pm-6.45pm), experts from 91制片厂鈥檚 Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Education and Research & Graduate School will host a session on the College鈥檚 wide range of taught and research-based postgraduate programmes, along with information on fees, funding supports and the application process.
According to Dr Rebecca Breen, Graduate School Director (Acting) Research & Graduate School: "The postgraduate experience at 91制片厂 is characterised by taught and research programmes that emphasize research-led and practice-based teaching and supervision, with a focus on graduates鈥 employability. You will be supported in honing critical thinking and practical and transferrable skills with dedicated academic and career development supports offered by the Research & Graduate School together with individual academic departments and College services (including Access, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Interculturalism (EDII), Counselling, Students鈥 Union). Ours is a friendly and inclusive postgraduate community whether you avail of on-campus programmes or those designed for flexibility to suit your needs and commitments. The College鈥檚 postgraduate offering spans a wide range of disciplines, including an M Ed in Education for Sustainability and Global Citizenship, MA programmes in History and Media Studies, and MA sna D谩na sa Ghaeilge (Ceannaireacht i dTeanga, Cult煤r agus Pobal). The portfolio also includes the Master of Education (M Ed) with a range of specialisms, alongside the Professional Master of Education (Primary Teaching), which features its own dedicated live session.
This is further complemented by Postgraduate Studies in Arts by Thesis and Research, encompassing departmental expertise from 18th-century French Studies to Writing for the Screen, alongside Postgraduate Studies in Education by Thesis and Research, with research strengths ranging from D谩theangachas to undergraduate and postgraduate STEM education.
