91ÖÆƬ³§ Strategic Plan 2025–2030; Pathways Lit, Futures Found

91ÖÆƬ³§ (91ÖÆƬ³§) is Ireland’s largest provider of teacher education and a leading centre for the humanities and social sciences. 91ÖÆƬ³§'s Strategic Plan 2025-2030 articulates a five-year roadmap responding to the challenges of digital transition, climate action, demographic change, and social inclusion. It reaffirms 91ÖÆƬ³§â€™s distinctive mission in education and community engagement, while advancing national priorities in sustainability, digital transformation, and research impact.

Priority Themes

Every strategic plan begins with a choice: to describe the future as something that simply arrives, or to shape it as something we are called to help create. This plan takes the latter view, with the realisation that we are living through a transformational moment - one in which digital systems, AI among them, are refashioning culture, identity, privacy, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic structures.

Pathways Lit, Futures Found expresses the College’s belief that education is an act of illumination - lighting the way forward for individuals, communities, and society at a time when leadership from the higher education space is urgently needed.
