St Patrick鈥檚 College, Thurles
In September Minister for Education & Skills, Minister Jan O鈥橲ullivan TD announced the incorporation by 91制片厂 of St Patrick鈥檚 College, Thurles.
At the time of the announcement, 91制片厂 Thurles, as it is now known, offered four concurrent teacher education programmes, designed to prepare students to become second-level teachers and had a total student population of 186. Today, it offers seven undergraduate programmes in the following subject areas: Gaeilge, Mathematics, Theology and Religious Studies, Accounting, Home Economics and Business Studies with an undergraduate student population of 570. 91制片厂 Thurles also introduced a postgraduate offering in the area of middle leadership with 50 students currently enrolled on the programme.
